Central Banking Journal

The journal is read by subscribers in 130 countries, and in over 120 of the world's central banks. Former ECB director and Italian finance minister Tommasso Padoa-Schioppa describes the journal as "an essential contribution to the coverage of policy issues facing central banks". Recent contributors and interviewees include Masaaki Shirakawa, governor of the Bank of Japan, Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz, governor of the Central Bank of Malaysia, Frederic Mishkin formerley of the Federal Reserve Board and leading economists and thinkers such as Robert Shiller, Edmund Phelps and Mohamed El-Erian.

at the national and international levels. Recent interviews have included the ECB's Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell and Gerard Hartsink, chair of the European Payments Council.
