Raphael Bostic will be first African-American to be a regional Fed president
Raphael Bostic, an academic and former Obama administration official specialising in housing policy, is the new president of the Federal Reserve of Atlanta, the bank announced today (March 13).
Bostic is a former staff member at the Federal Reserve, an academic and a former senior official at the US government’s Department of Housing and Urban Development, or HUD.
