Former Greek central bank governor injured by bomb
Papademos attack follows letter bombs sent to Schaeuble and IMF
Lucas Papademos, who has served as governor of the Bank of Greece and as vice-president of the European Central Bank, as well as prime minister of his country, was injured by a bomb exploding inside his car on May 25.
Papademos was injured in the leg and upper body, and the driver of his car and one other person were also injured, according to local news reports. The condition of the casualties was “not a cause for concern” according to a statement by Greek officials. The blast occurred at
