BoE collaborates with fintech firms to enhance payment system
BoE establishes new fintech community
The Bank of England (BoE) will be testing artificial intelligence as well as ‘interledger protocols’ over the coming months, as part of its Fintech Accelerator programme.
Today (March 16), the BoE announced it was partnering with MindBridge Analytics and Ripple to create proof-of-concepts (POCs) to enhance the central bank’s payment system.
The announcement came as the bank released the names of those taking part in its new Accelerator “community” – a group of fintech-related organisations
