RBA's Edey signals end to lengthy card review process

The Reserve Bank of Australia is about to conclude a wide-ranging review of its card payments systems, assistant governor Malcolm Edey said today (May 12).

Edey told a cards and payments conference the review is expected to be finalised at a board meeting next week, after a two-year process of consultation, analysis and interviews with interested parties.
