Enria sees banking union as ‘game changer’ for EBA

Andrea Enria, chair of the European Banking Authority (EBA), described banking union as a "game changer" for the institution, in his speech at the European Parliament on November 17.

"The Banking Union is a game changer for the EBA. We need a strategic refocusing in order to sharpen our perspective on the EU-28 single market and effectively act as a bridge between ‘ins' and ‘outs'," she said.

He outlined "three lines of action" to pursue in meeting that challenge: developing a "meaningful agenda
