The eurozone must supplement its "courageous" monetary and supervisory policies with "an expansionary fiscal policy", Federal Reserve deputy governor Stanley Fischer has said. His remarks came in a speech given to the conference on ‘Inflation and unemployment in Europe' hosted by the European Central Bank (ECB) in May and recently published online.
