Rossi calls on supervisors to ‘build a real single house’

Stresses the importance of harmonising supervisory practices across the eurozone

The Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) is valuable in and of itself, although it only represents the first step towards a full-fledged banking union, according to Salvatore Rossi, the Bank of Italy's senior deputy governor.
