Maldives governor says international experts ‘unaware’ of island realities
Adam rejects one-size-fits-all policy prescriptions
The so-called experts at international financial institutions who visit the Maldives and offer prescriptions for macroeconomic problems "are either unaware, or they just ignore, the realities in the country," according to central bank governor Azeema Adam.
