Temasek marks 40th birthday by opening New York office

Office is the Singaporean sovereign fund's first in the US

Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek yesterday opened its New York office – it's first presence in the US – on the occasion of the fund's 40th birthday.

Chair Lim Boon Heng gave a speech at the opening, saying the office will "work closely with our offices in Mexico City and São Paolo in Brazil to cover the Americas, both north and south", and "complement our London office, which was established in March this year to cover Europe and Africa".
