Governor Zeti encourages use of Islamic financing
The governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, Zeti Akhtar Aziz, today once again backed the use of Islamic financing.
In a speech at the EU-Malaysia Chambers of Commerce and Industry's Quarterly Financial Panel Discussion 2012 titled Islamic Finance: New Frontiers in Financing the Economy, Zeti said the financing method "offers a comprehensive and competitive solution in meeting funding and investment requirements of businesses".
