Eurozone core ‘regain net influence’ over bond markets, finds Irish paper

The eurozone's core countries have regained their dominance over the region's sovereign bond markets, according to a research technical paper published last week by the Central Bank of Ireland.

The paper – Spillover in Euro Area Sovereign Bond Markets, by Thomas Conefrey and David Cronin – examines the extent to which shocks in the sovereign bond markets in individual eurozone countries have spilled over to one another.
