Monetary policy in Sweden needs to remain expansionary, Riksbank board says
Bank’s inflation forecasts are "sensitive" to international factors
At its last meeting, Sveriges Riksbank's executive board noted that while economic activity had "strengthened", the external backdrop dictated monetary policy had to remain "very expansionary".
In minutes from the July monetary policy meeting, published today (July 20), the board took note of how economic activity is expected to improve, creating conditions for inflation to continue to rise.
