BoJ aiming to make better use of upgraded settlement system

The Bank of Japan (BoJ) is hoping to persuade more users to take advantage of the new features in its large-value settlement system, BoJ-Net, it says in its latest payment and settlement systems report, published today (June 24).

The BoJ said both the value and volume of cash settlements via the system increased in 2015, though trading in government bonds levelled off.
