Central banks showing interest in renminbi assets, RBA article says

The internationalisation of the renminbi is "proceeding at a measured pace", with central banks starting to make investments in Chinese assets and many more expressing an interest, according to an article in the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) latest quarterly bulletin.

Developments in Renminbi Internationalisation, by Alexander Ballantyne, Megan Garner and Michelle Wright, economists in the RBA's international department, notes the "gradual pace" with which restrictions on cross-border flows
