Omani central bank releases first financial stability report
The Central Bank of Oman released its first financial stability report last week, in which it revealed the creation of an independent financial stability unit to operate macro-prudential policy.
The report identified a need to develop a "diagnostic toolkit that simultaneously traces the development of macro-financial conditions that pose risks to financial stability", while also "assessing the joint impact of all these risk factors on systemic stability".
