Estonia data shows increases in travel service provision

The Bank of Estonia on March 9 published the first batch of information received from tracking mobile positioning data.

The central bank noted an 11% increase in travel service exports in 2011, compared with 2010. The industry earned Estonia €900 million ($1.18 billion) last year. Travel service imports were also up, this time by 17%, reaching €554 million in 2011.
