IMF raises projections for US and eurozone growth for 2017

Fund staff have not factored in an international trade shock

The International Monetary Fund has revised upwards its growth estimates for advanced economies in 2017, it said, but added that prospects for emerging market economies have "marginally worsened". The IMF today (January 16) published its update to its World economic outlook, originally issued in October 2016.
