Dombret sees no need for ECB response to UK vote

Deutsche Bundesbank’s Andreas Dombret says it is not clear to what extent further easing would boost economy

Deutsche Bundesbank's Andreas Dombret has said there is no need for eurozone monetary policy to respond to the UK's vote to leave the European Union.

He told an audience in San Francisco on July 12 that the extent to which further easing would stimulate the economy was "not clear". The European Central Bank (ECB) is already expanding its bond holdings.
