Slovene police raid on the country’s central bank involves seizure of ECB information
Mario Draghi has formally protested against the actions of Slovenia's prosecutor general, who ordered police to raid the country's central bank on July 6.
The action was "unlawful", Draghi said in a public letter addressed to Zvonko Fišer, Slovenia's supreme state prosecutor. The president of the European Central Bank (ECB) said the institution was considering taking legal action against the Slovene government.
The police raids had seized ECB information held on computers at the Slovene central
