Governor Craigg ends 37 years of service at the Central Bank of the Bahamas
Former finance secretary appointed new governor
Wendy Craigg left the Central Bank of the Bahamas on December 31, having served for a decade as governor, to be succeeded by former chief economist John Rolle.
Craigg became the first female to hold the post of governor when she was appointed in June 2005. She has worked at the central bank since 1978, holding a variety of roles that included director of research and deputy governor. Craigg will now take up the new role of economic policy adviser to the prime minister.
