NSFR should be introduced for all EU credit institutions, EBA says
A net stable funding ratio (NSFR) should be introduced for all credit institutions within the European Union (EU), a detailed report from the European Banking Authority (EBA) recommends.
The outline for an NSFR made by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) in October 2014 is broadly correct, the EBA report said, though it did suggest some revisions.
The EBA report also makes 11 specific recommendations. An NSFR should be introduced for all credit institutions in the EU, it says
