People: Finland names new head of statistics; RBI appoints executive director
Bank of Finland promotes head of macro-prudential analysis division
Finland: Katja Taipalus will head the Bank of Finland's financial stability and statistics department from December 15. She currently works within the department as head of the macro-prudential analysis division.
Her predecessor, Kimmo Virolainen, has taken the post of alternate executive director at the International Monetary Fund. Taipalus has held her current post since 2012.
The department works to ensure the financial market is stable, while ensuring the payment and wider financial system
