Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem says ball in Greece’s court
Yanis Varoufakis stood down as Greek finance minister today (July 6), just hours after the country overwhelmingly voted to reject the latest proposals from its creditors.
His departure will allow prime minister Alexis Tsipras to return to the negotiation table with a fresh perspective, if not a clean slate, as he attempts to find common ground with Greece's creditors.
