People: Sri Lanka and Paraguay name new board members

Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka's president has appointed a former assistant governor at the country's central bank, RA Jayatissa, to its monetary board – the body responsible for decisions over the management, operation and administration of the central bank.

Jayatissa first joined the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 1975, holding a variety of posts including director of economic research and assistant governor.
