BoE revamps market intelligence approach

Central bank continues transparency push

The Bank of England (BoE) is changing the way it interacts with market participants, after a report authored by lawyer Anthony Grabiner exposed flaws in the central bank's approach.

In what the BoE calls "root and branch" reform, the gathering of market intelligence will now be subject to tighter controls and greater transparency.
