Uruguay central bank president replaced with predecessor after one year in job

Central Bank of Uruguay: Bergara to return as president

Mario Bergara will return as Central Bank of Uruguay president in March, replacing incumbent Alberto Graña after just 14 months in the job.

Bergara initially served as president from 2008 to 2013, before being succeeded by Graña, who was handed a five-year term in January 2014 but will now leave having served just a fraction of it.
