Efforts to achieve an orderly resolution of a globally systemic bank may be stymied by a lack of trust among resolution authorities, participants at a panel discussion in London warned yesterday.

An event at Chatham House, held under the rule of the same name, brought together top officials from central banks, regulatory bodies and the private sector to debate how regulation is reshaping the banking industry.
