Hélène Rey receives first Carl Menger Prize from German-language central banks
London Business School professor recognised for research informing ‘concrete work' of central banks
Representatives from the Deutsche Bundesbank, Swiss National Bank and National Bank of Austria have awarded the first biannual Carl Menger Prize to economist Hélène Rey for her research on monetary policy they said had informed the "concrete work of central banks".
Rey, a professor at the London Business School, was recognised for her research on "issues relating to international monetary theory and monetary policy that were raised during the European financial crisis," during a ceremony in
