The Bank of Thailand named five new assistant governors today, all of whom are internal appointments.

This marks the second reshuffle of senior officials in the space of a few weeks, as the central bank named a new deputy governor and a change in portfolio for another at the end of May.

The latest round of appointments sees Mathee Supapongse and Ronadol Numnonda promoted to head the Bank of Thailand's monetary policy and supervision groups respectively.

Supapongse will succeed Paiboon
