Bank of England appoints ten new directors

New positions are filled just in time for 'One Bank' launch

The Bank of England (BoE) has appointed 10 new directors ahead of sweeping changes to its management structure that come into effect on Monday, nine of which come from inside the bank.

The overhaul was unveiled by Mark Carney, the BoE governor, in March with the purpose of improving collaboration across departments and making the bank better equipped to meet new supervisory responsibilities.
