Bank of Lithuania axes quarter of staff

The Bank of Lithuania has shed a quarter of its staff – 195 employees – in the process of consolidating its main operations under four organisational branches. The restructuring occurred over the course of the past year, and has seen the number of staff ‘heads' slashed by 47% from 165 to 87, including the removal of some directors.
