Central banker takes over as Labuan Financial Services Authority director

The Labuan Financial Services Authority (FSA) on Thursday announced that the Malaysian prime minister and minister of finance had approved the appointment of Encik Ahmad Hizzad bin Baharuddin as the new director-general of the Labuan FSA for a three-year term, effective from October 3, 2011.

Hizzad took over from Datuk Azizan Abdul Rahman, who retired in September 2011.
