Clarity, access to information key to financial market infrastructure oversight, say regulators
Central banks and markets authorities should seek clearer, more detailed data to identify financial market infrastructures – such as central counterparties (CCPs) and central securities depositories (CSDs) – that should be subjected to oversight, regulators have said.
In a consultation report published on Thursday, the Basel-based Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS) and the technical committee of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (Iosco) said regulators
