ECB staff set for "warning" strike

European Central Bank (ECB) staff are to take industrial action for the first time ever over pensions reform.

The staff will participate in a "warning strike" for 90 minutes starting from 16:00 on 3 June, the day before the next interest-rate decision. The strike is the first in the institution's ten-year history.

The International and European Public Services Organisation (Ipso), the union which has organised the action, said in a letter that the strike was "not intended to impair the ECB's
