New York Fed names new IT systems head

William Christie, the director of information systems at Commerce Bank, will join the New York Federal Reserve as an executive vice-president and head of the automation and system services group.

At Commerce Bank, Christie managed staff working in the technology, vendor management, information security and business continuity planning departments. He also had a ten-year stint at Bank of America/ MBNA America, where he worked as a senior vice president, and spent 13 years at IBM, the IT company.
