Greece appoints new deputy governor
Karolos Papoulias, Greece's president, administered the oath on Tuesday afternoon. Ioannis Papathanassiou, the country's finance minister; George Provopoulos, the governor of the central bank, and Eleni Dendrinou-Louri, the central bank's other deputy governor, also attended the ceremony.
Papadakis, formerly an economics professor at Athens University, joined the central bank's Monetary Policy Council in April
