Korean SWF could buy Lehman stake

Korea's sovereign wealth fund is one of a number of the country's official institutions that could inject funds into Lehman Brothers, an investment bank, it was revealed on Thursday.

Leading financial dailies reported that a number of unnamed Korean institutions had discussed buying a stake in the loss-making bank before Lehman announced it would raise $6 billion through a share offer on Monday. The institutions, including the Korean Investment Corporation, the country's sovereign wealth fund
