ECB welcomes Payment Services Directive

The European Central Bank said Tuesday 24 April it regards the adoption of the PSD by the European Parliament as a decisive step towards the realisation of the SEPA.

The European Parliament adopted the proposal for the Payment Services Directive (PSD) for which the ECOFIN Council had already agreed a general approach at its meeting on 27 March 2007
