Fed's Poole: Rate rise forecast 'sensible'

St. Louis Fed President William Poole said in an interview published on Monday 23 January that inflation is less worrying now but one or more interest-rate hikes by the Fed could be considered a "sensible forecast".

In an interview with Bloomberg News published on Monday, Poole said he was less concerned about prices now than he was six months ago and suggested policy-makers were in "a very balanced position."

"We have plenty of room to grow," Poole said. "I think we're very much in a stable
