Stefan Ingves is governor of Sveriges Riksbank and a member of the European Central Bank’s general council and board of directors of the Bank for International Settlements. He has worked since 2011 as chairman of the Advisory Technical Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board and is chairman of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. From 1999–2005, Ingves was director of the monetary and financial systems department at the International Monetary Fund and worked as deputy governor of
